How can I change the position of the Windows 7 Start button?

    I have not tried it, but here is an article on the subject.

    Hello, have you tried moving the taskbar instead?  If you are interested in trying follow the next steps:

    -- right click on empty space on taskbar
    -- make sure check mark is off on the Lock the taskbar option
    -- click an empty space on the taskbar
    -- hold mouse button
    down and then drag the taskbar to one of the four edges of the desktop
    -- once you placed the taskbar where you want it
    -- release the mouse button

     I tried to use the "zaamansoft" program but the start button can only be moved bed before Vista :(.

    Windows Executable file (*.exe) has a know
    place, where are stored some pictures. This way you can change some pictures in it. But changing the "core" layout would
    need to change the code.
