How can I change the marker for a location on Google Places?

My client’s Google Places marker is in the wrong location. Google’s standard answer is go to your account and reposition, BUT in his account the marker is already in the correct position.

It is the right Places account because other changes appear. It is impossible to contact Google for help.

Find your client's Google Maps/Places page like this one: http://maps.google.com/maps/place?cid=1377946238332116619&q=restaurants&sll=44.614734,-97.096565&sspn=9.316009,52.079189&ie=UTF8&ll=61.897578,-143.701172&spn=0,0&z=4

You reach it by clicking on the name of the business within Google Places/Maps.

In there, just above the picture to the left of the map you will find a link that says: "Edit this place". If the place has been claimed by the owner you will be notified and within that notification you will find a link that says: "Report a problem" fill out the form and send it.

If the business hasn't been claimed you can edit the marker by clicking the same "Edit this place" link and you will see a page containing all of that places info, including the marker location that you will be able to move around. I do believe that all changes made have to be approved, dunno by whom, so they might not reflect instantly.

    Hope it helps.
