The fastest and probably easiest way is to just hold the Volume-Down button and Power button at the same time for about 1 or 2 seconds

use this key combination..

power button + volume down key

you must hold them both for few seconds and then a screen shot will be taken and a notification will appear.

from the camera (if u dont hv , download it from android market)

Hey Sunil!

As mentioned by others, ICS and JellyBean have the most efficient option for creating screenshots out of all the apps out there, however, there are some features that it won’t perform, such as shake to capture and capture from the notifications bar. For those two features, I sometimes use Drocap2, for root users only, because it offers several different capture options.

Also, you may want to try out Dropbox – it will automatically sync your screencaptures between your phone and PC, wirelessly, provided that they’re both connected to the internet. You just need to turn on the picture syncing feature in the Dropbox app’s configuration menu.

Hold the Volume down button with the Power button (press at the same time) till u hear the shutter sound and a small screenshot window appears in the current window.
