I’m trying to use my friend’s photos, but I don’t know how to get them off her Facebook page. Is there an easy way to do this?

the simplest thing i do , for those sometimes locked or hard to save photos ,
capture them like with a camera .

the camera is a screen capture tool , like FasStone Image Capture (  http://www.faststone.org/download.htm  ) , free version is good enough ..

open the photo you want to save , and capture it with the screen capture ...

    if using Win7 ,
it has the inbuilt capturing tool - Snipping Tool .

just type Snip in the start search box and press enter , to start snipping ...

    hope it helps ....

Do you want to download a single photo or do you want download all the pics from an album?

You can save a photo by right click or download button

if you want to download all photos from an album,

you can not see photos if the person has privacy settings.

Two Chrome extensions that could be of help:
    PhotoLive https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fpjnpabklnaaifclgealaepelncljadk?hc=search&hcp=main

    Google+ Photo Importer https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/okodeacdedpenhcadfgolcfdgifohfcf?hc=search&hcp=main

PhotoLive is just a general Facebook album download tool. The Google+ Photo Importer can also work even if you don't intend to use Google+ much, because it imports the photos to Picasa Web Albums.

Go to the photo (and click on it so that it expands), right click in the photo and chose "Save image as". You may also chose "Download" in the lower right corner of the photo as well.
