Can you recommend WiFi scanner apps for the PC?

I know there is phone apps such as “WiFiFoFum”, which works great on my iPhone 4 Verizon that I am using for apps, music and web.

I am looking for apps of this kind on my HP notebook. I’m not too computer savvy in this area. Any suggestions for apps and downloads for my PC without having to spend money. Thank you.

If you just want to scan for networks around (within signal range) inSSIDer is probably the best one around.
