Can the Jawbone UP bracelet be worn while swimming?

Reference your Fitbit Flex vs Jawbone UP comparative review. Your review does not mention swimming. Swimming is a major daily activity for me. If the Jawbone UP cannot be worn in the water, then it is useless to me.

Your band is rain, splash, sweat, and shower-resistant, but we recommend taking it off before swimming

the Fitbit Ultra is not waterproof and should not be worn in water or during activities where it might get wet.

Thanks for your response, ha14. What a bummer! I'd buy Jawbone in a heartbeat, if it would work in water!

it is water resistant but not water-proof! it can resist shower, rain, washing dish...
