How can I scroll using the touchpad without having to move to the scrollbar?

I have HP 6515 laptop and I want to engage scrolling on the cursor plate without having to push the cursor to the scroll bar on the extreme right.

Try sliding your finger up or down the far right side of the touchpad as this is the normal area for the vertical scroll function. If not, try the far left side, or try using two fingers across the right side of the touchpad. Most likely it would be the right side of the touchpad with one finger scrolling.

If you're running Windows 8, Smart Gestures allows you to scroll using two fingers anywhere on the pad. Google your model to see what touchpad it has and if it supports two-finger gestures.
