I want to record music (video & audio) being aired on TV channels. Is there any technology available rather than keeping an Mp3 player in front of TV to catch and record audio? It records the external sound as well.
It depends on the connections available, your budget, hire simple or complicated you want the setup, transfer, and conversion of files, etc. Without the connection capabilities of the tv and other information, it is difficult to say what may meet your needs best. Honestly, the best method would be using a USB video capture card on a computer, connect the tv cable (or whatever connects to the tv for watching the shows), use Windows Media Center or other media player that can view the tv content, record the content you want, use a video editor to cut the video to the portion you want, and maybe convert the video to the format that you want to use. Sounds like a lot of work for very little? Welcome back to making mixtapes! The simplest, but lowest quality recording, would be using FIDELIS's suggestion. Otherwise, other methods (online) would be simple and offer good quality.
Hello, not meant as a joke but nowadays that device is called a Cellphone.
