June 5, 2012The timeline profile is your friend’s profile. This is because Facebook is phasing out the old profile page and is replacing it with Timeline as the new profile page for EVERYBODY. Most people already have it but some might not, but that is just a matter of time before they get it.

If you are using Chrome, you can install the “TimelineRemove” extension which will show the old Facebook profile to you.

June 5, 2012If your friend has already switched (or been forcibly switched) there isn’t much you can do. It shows all the same information anyway, just presented in a different way.
