Can I use Google Calendar or other HTML as wallpaper in Windows 8?

I’ve been trying to set my Google Calendar as my desktop background. I’m currently running Windows 8 64-bit. All of the instructions I’ve found seem to use the old customization menus. They say that once I copy the HTML link from my calendar that I’m supposed to get into my control panel and click customize desktop.

Then I should be able to choose web and paste the copied link. I can’t find anything to get me to that point. I can change my background between pictures I already have, but there isn’t an option to use the web. Not one that I can find anyway. Am I just missing something, or is this not an option for Windows 8?

Seems like Microsoft removed the ability to make a website your wallpaper from Windows 8. There are other tools for the job, though – Rainmeter is pretty and can integrate with Google Calendar. http://rainmeter.net/cms/
