Is the drive formatted as NTFS? If so, you may use a program like "Take Ownership" to get permission to add, delete, or modify files on the drive.

Is there a "write protect" switch on the drive? If so, set it to "read/write."

did you by chance run the security program that comes with the sandisk pendrive (RunSandiskSecureAccess_win) if you did it locks your pendrive until you either reinstall it or give the password it might ask for ....heres the site http://www.sandisk.com/products/usb/drives/ try to locate your drive model and download the software again ..hope this helps
