How can I find if an app available for one OS is available for another?

Which web service can tell whether an app available for one operating system is available for another OS? For example, if I find an app in Play store, can I easily find out (instead of going to publisher’s page) whether the same app is available for iOS, or even for Windows phone?

You can usually came to know by checking the official website of that app they have all the information about this.

If I'm looking for a specific app (that is, by name), then I usually just google it with the OS (e.g. "camscanner android"). If I'm looking for an similar product, but not necessarily from the same company, then I use AlternativeTo, same as Bruce.

Use AlternativeTo. It will list all available platforms for the selected software or app as long as it is in its database.
