Can we convert a PDF line drawing into an AutoCAD line drawing?

    Therea are tools that will do this for you automatically. For example , http://www.convertpdftoautocad.com/ (google "convert PDF to DXF " or "convert PDF autocad" for a list).
    However, the process is similar to OCR - it involves the software making educated guesses as to what a particular shape "means", so your mileage may vary. From what I can see on the AutoCAD forums, most users simply import the PDF into their document, which places it as a background image, and they then trace it manually. You could try both approaches and see which works better for you.
