Stuck in a mail conversion situation where I am trying to import the email files from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Outlook for Windows. The problem where I am stuck into is large files which are of few megabytes and the over-all email size reaches 30GB. So I am bound by the size of the over-all email data and I also want to copy all the settings and address book of outlook 2011 to outlook 2013.

So is there a way available that will copy all the above requirements that I have mentioned from outlook 2011 to outlook 2013?

    1) Open your Mac 2011 inbox on your Mac and create a folder in the Finder (like Inbox Outl11) to copy and paste or all the mails from your inbox to the newly created folder.
    2) Copy Inbox Outl11 folder to external drive like USB key....to move it from your Mac to your Windows PC.
    3) On your Windows 7 or 8, install Windows Mail (or Outlook Express if your Windows is XP), open Windows Mail. since it accepts .elm format. Create an E-mail account on Windows Mail
    4) Connect your external drive containing Inbox Outl11 folder containing all your mails from your Mac to your Windows PC. Open the folder and drag-and-drop (in stages not all at once) the mails in the folder in the Inbox of your created account in Windows Mail. or open Windows Live Mail in browser drag the messages into the Live Mail inbox desktop (create the folder that you would like to move in the Live Mail account and then select all the messages in the old folder then drag and drop those messages to the newly created folder in your Live Mail account. ).

There can be various similar tools which can work for conversion of olm to pst & help to move from mac machine to windows machine.

    Check here: http://office.mvps.org/cross_platform/mac_win.html

Moreover, you can find out more tools for olm to pst conversion like systools outlook mac exporter, quickdata olm to pst converter, gladwev olm to pst converter pro etc.

One such tool which I personally recommend, can be found here:http://olmtopst.ca/

    Hope this helps.

I used Olm to pst converter pro to convert all my emails.
Imap transfer was not possible because of the slow internet connection and heavy size of the emails.

All-in-all this converter tool was able to convert all my emails saving the folder hierarchy as it was in outlook for mac.

      Thank you

What is the problem with the size? Is it that you can't save files over 4GB on your external drive because it's in FAT32 format? If so, you can either split the file on the Mac and rejoin it on the PC. There are numerous file-splitting utilities available to do this, and there's no particular need for compatibility between the Mac & PC sides.

Alternatively, you could export the messages from Outlook/Mac in chunks (probably organised by folder) that of a reasonable size, and import them one by one into Outlook 2013.
