I cannot collect multiple items on the clipboard dialog box. This feature worked in the past but ha now stopped working. What can I do to correct this problem and restore the capability I originally had.

I think Tina offered some of the best options for Windows: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/3-clipboard-managers-windows/

Although if you're talking Mac, I'd go with Jackson's solution: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/the-best-free-multi-item-clipboard-managers-mac-only/

Or you could get crazy and customize your own VBA solution (for programmers): http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/pass-information-vba-applications-clipboard/

you could try clipx on http://www.makeuseof.com/pages/best-windows-software page.
A clip board manager of some sort is the only way to allow for multiple copies in to "memory".

As Hovsep says, the clipboard usually only "collects" a single item, so you were probably using a clipboard replacement. There's a list of such programs at http://lifehacker.com/5298615/five-best-clipboard-managers. Install one of them and use it instead.

normally you can collect one item, in order to do more you need clipboard software, maybe you had one installed
