How can I change my default cursor in Windows Vista?

I successfully downloaded and saved a new cursor scheme, applied it and it works great, but every time I start up my computer it defaults to the original Windows Aero ( Vista OS). How can I make it stick?

Start > "Search" Mouse > Pointers
Then you select what cursor you want.

I assume you selected the theme from the menu in the "Mouse Properties" control panel and clicked OK. Did you get any errors at that stage?

I just moved the downloaded cursor scheme into the "Cursors" subfolder. I'm sure that was the problem! Thank you for quick and easy fixes! :-)
