Why does my C program generate the error “It seems this file has not been built yet”?

I am a beginner to C programming & I have installed code blocks but I am facing some problems. When I run code blocks & click on File->New->Empty file and then type a simple C program for Hello World & save it, it doesn’t run.

Instead, it displays the message “It seems this file has not been built yet” and “Incorrect command -q”
Though at my college computer, whenever I click on File menu->New->Empty file & type the program, it runs after compiling.

    You should try it on another compiler. You'll get where was the actual problem like in system, compiler or might in your problem steps.

    Use compiler.. C compiler, codes, turbo C.

    I think you may have omitted the compile step, perhaps following this tutorial will help:
