Can you burn a bootable OS X disk from a PC? Or does it have to be done from another Mac?

    It is possible with TransMac. It can be downloaded for a 15 day free trial, licence  cost is $25.00 USD

    The easiest way to make a Live OS X is from a Mac, but a tip, I would recommend a live USB

    This is a bit of a Grey Area, but it is no doubt violating the OS X eula. Apple will probably not bust down your door for doing it, but is still technically illegal. That said Apple will probably make it a feature in OS X in the next year or so because Microsoft has put it in one of the Windows 8 beta.

        It is the links I used to make one off of my Mac. I am still looking up what licensing issues are there, probably a lot of them...
