I am looking for a free website and host provider to build my own site from scratch, no templates.  I need it ASAP.

    if you want professional look
    you can try http://www.wix.com/
    however their are quit limitations
or you ca do what I have done..
Open a free hosting account with byethost (http://www.byethost.com/free-hosting)
and then host a wordpress blog (http//www.wordpress.org).
You can even host a Joomla! CMS but it is quit difficult to learn as compared to WordPress.
    Telling from personal experience.

      Srinibash,

if you need more resources than the ones provided above, I recommend that you ask a new question.

If you need a business website, and are situated in the uk, go here: http://www.gbbo.co.uk/
You can even transfer your free .co.uk domain to another host!

    Govinda,

there are many free web hosts or blogging platforms that you can use. I highly recommend Tumblr as it is free, easy to set up, and there are no ads. Other alternatives would be Blogspot, Blogger, or any of the free webhosts mentioned in the answers to this question: Can you recommend a free web hosting service?

Let us know what service you decided for and maybe we can give you some tips on how to set it up.

Regarding your job hunt, you could set up a digital CV / résumé that you can link to. More information here:
