doris asks:
I set my browser to full screen and now the toolbar is hidden and I can’t do anything. I’m using Mozilla Firefox. How can I restore the browser to its normal size?

November 15, 2011Hello, you could press the F11 key. F11 key makes browser full screen. If browser is in full screen already, by pressing F11 you turn it back to size you had before going to full screen. You could also enable the menu momentarily to see the whole menu and make the changes. Once done, you can disable showing the menu again. To do so, these are the instructions:
– move mouse to of screen
– right click on it
– select Menu Bar
– make desired changes
– disable menu if you do not want it.
when i press my f11 key it just mutes the volume???
January 13, 2012Hover your cursor to the top right corner of your screen, and click on restore button from the three buttons to exit full screen.
(Are you using mac or hp ?
January 13, 2012use f11 after pressing fn key or option alt key.)
Hello, From what you are saying, you might be using a laptop. When you tried this, were you pressing the Fn key or not?

Sizer is a freeware utility that allows you to resize any window to an exact, predefined size. This is extremely useful when designing web pages, as it allows you to see how the page will look when viewed at a smaller size. The utility is also handy when compiling screen-shots for documentation, using Sizer allows you to easily maintain the same window size across screen grabs.

December 21, 2011I’m stuck in Full Screen mode in Firefox and neither of these first 2 suggestions work.
f11 key does not work when it is allocated to another shortcut.
but what do you see when you place your cursor on top-right of your screen?
hover your cursor where menubar and addressbar are found in normal mode.
you should see them dropping down.
and when you click the restore/maximize button, you will exit full screen.
If nothing works, you can remove and reinstall firefox.
