March 24, 2012Your phone is s40 based its not easy to break the password from that..
It is possible only if you have Nokia’s s60 first edition phone (eg: 6600, 6610, N70,N73,E63,E71,N95)
The thing you got to do is download and install “FExplorer” software.
After installing follow the steps:
1. Open FExplorer and access the c: drive.
2. There u will find a file named ‘mmcstore’
3. Rename the file to: ‘mmcstore.txt’
4. The file will now open in notepad
5. U will get your password written in the notepad file
6. Your password must be several characters at the end of the file.
Or if you cant find those phones You need to format that memory card (your phone will not allow to format it,except some nokia e series phones)Use some old model digital cameras to format your card as new cameras wont detect a password protected card and so do pcbut remember all your data will be lost..
I have forgotten the password of my memory card. From your sentences I installed FExplore and XPlorer on my N79. from both I cant get the file “mmcstore” at c:/system

Connect your memory card to PC via memory card reader and locate the file mmcstore and open it via notepad.Then you can see stored password inside that file.

August 22, 2012swetha you can connect your mobile via data cable using the pc suit software. then select mass storage option and get your memory card file on ur pc. its the only way to recover ur data without formatting mem card.

September 13, 2012I tried it but its not working I’ve already installed Fexplorer, replace mmcstore to mmcstore.txt format open it in notepad, found some combination of characters there but it seems not working.
