Why does the audio/volume of my HP 620 laptop no longer work?

How do I get the audio/volume of my HP 620 laptop working? It just stopped working.

    My 620 HP laptop has no sound at all. When i go to Adjust system volume, it says: No audio device is installed. What should i do? I did have sound, but all of a sudden it is not working

    Hi! i have similar problem on my hp 620 laptop. i have tried checking my my device manager several times with no item indicating question mark but yet the sound is not working. Pls, what else can i do?

    The sound on my computer is not working but when I connect external or computer speakers it works

    Thanx ha14 n also 4 asking Tina it worked n my system is in good working order now. i followed d steps n d audio is bck.

    Go to device manager,.after this look for anything that has an explanation mark on it, it means its not working properly, right click on your sound drver and choose uninstall then reboot and let windows to reinstall a new driver.

    system restore and installation of all the driver
