malaris asks:
How can I use an animated gif (that works) for my Facebook avatar? I have seen it done and it appears the person has saved it as an fbml type of jpg.

January 5, 2011Hi
I think Facebook doesn’t allow it.
But
you can do this in an Iframe if your dealing with your own application or you can use the FBML (FaceBook Markup Language) to add an image (Even animated ones) to your profile, you can add videos, ect
put that into a FBML (Facebook Markup Language) tab and see if it works fine
FBML It’s like HTML, but it’s the code designed specifically for Facebook design.
You need to create a fan page, then add FBLM… then add them to your main personal profile and that’s it. Hope that helps.

To set up your FBML tab, click on “Edit Page” under your Facebook page logo/avatar located on your wall
make sure it’s dimensions are smaller than ~ 160 pixels x 160 pixels
