How can I add voice recognition to Excel Macro worksheets?

I work in a school, and would like to write an Excel Macro program that uses speech recognition to gain user input. I was wondering it there are any speech recognition programs (preferably free) that I could integrate into Excel Macros.

Also – would there be any tutorials to show me how to integrate the speech part? It sounds a little complicated to someone who’s never done it before.

    I would say that you need to have another program running that converts the speech into text or commands for Excel.
