Is there any way to add Opera’s “tab stacking” function to my Firefox browser?

I know there are a good handful of plugins for each browser that can ‘group’ tabs together and ‘organise’ them in many different ways, but not one that mimics the simple way that Opera does it.

Basically I’m looking for an Opera tab manager ‘clone’ plugin for my Firefox browser! Are there any available?

You can try Tab Utilities addon -

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-utilities/

As mentioned in the forum below, you must use the following settings -

    http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1025604-firefox-install-tab-utilities-for-opera-esque-tab-stacks/

Type about:config into the address bar to configure the following settings:

extensions.tabutils.autoStack - A new stack will be created when opening a link in a new tabextensions.tabutils.autoCollapseInactiveStackextensions.tabutils.autoCollapseNewStackextensions.tabutils.autoExpandStackOnDragoverextensions.tabutils.autoExpandStackOnSelect

MUO recently also have an article of Tab Utilities which list other functionalities of it -

I hope this will help you.
