How can I add the meta title for my WordPress blog?

John asks:

With my WordPress blog, how do I add the description that Google sees as a sub title, then paragraph.

    - I wouldn’t use blog dates unless your posts are news items.

    - The blog name can be left in the title for branding purposes but not essential. During the first 2-3 years we had MakeUseOf appended to each title but not now.

    - It’s always a good practice to name the images properly

    Also, bear in mind Google won’t necessarily USE the description you set. It often changes it to be more relevant to the query, if it feels your own description doesn’t accurately demonstrate what the user is searching for.

    go to settings and change the tagline and save changes.

    or try editing themes like jeff said.
