How can I add an AdBlock exception to AdBlock Plus in Firefox?

tarzan2001 asks:

I’m trying to add an exception for makeuseof.com to the Firefox extension AdBlock Plus, but it’s looking a bit technical, though I’m sure it’s not very difficult in reality. I wanna do my part to support this great site, so if anyone can give me simple instructions on how to do it, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Just to note, we’ve found problems with simply whitelisting – it still blocks some stuff. Disabling completely or uninstalling is recommended.
