Colette asks:
I know that when I uninstall something it doesn’t completely uninstall. How do I remove all of the things I’m uninstalling from all parts of my computer?

Stefan wrote a very good article that should answer your question:
How To Uninstall Applications Efficiently And Remove Obsolete Files
In short, rather than using the respective program’s uninstall option or going through add/remove programs in Windows, you should use an external application to uninstall applications. Stefan recommends Piriform CCleaner and Revo Uninstaller.
I second Revo Uninstaller, been using it for a while now and pretty happy with it.

May 1, 2010Or you can make a backup of your computer, install the program, then install the backup again? But that would probably take a while.
Have a read of this: http://blogs.howtogeek.com/mysticgeek/2008/04/29/completely-uninstall-programs-and-more-with-revo-uninstaller/

May 1, 2010Revo Unistaller, like Tina suggested is a great option. If you are trying to uninstall a Windows program, Windows has its own removal utility at:

May 1, 2010Agreed, Revo Uninstaller is one of the best utilities out there for clean removals.

May 3, 2010Revo Uninstaller is good, but I prefer ZSoft Uninstaller which has a simpler interface and is, to my mind, much more focused on that particular task.
