If you had given your mobile number in your account,then get the reset code in your phone.They’ll send it to you via SMS free of cost which needs to be inserted quickly.

Firtsly,clear all your browser cache and history.Then if still it doesn’t works,then check your internet connectivity for issues like jitter.If your connection is fine then perhaps,their web based client is not so speedy to respond upon your request.

It seems that you’d forgot your password for which you took to reset it.You can also reset your password by providing alternate email address.If it was specified at the time of account creation,then it would be send at that email.

You mean to say that your windows login password is not accessible or working.Try resetting password using Hiren boot CD which is an ISO file which can be burned to USB key too.

October 25, 2012Here’s how I unlocked my account…. I went into control panel, folder options, clicked on “show hidden folders”….. Then I opened My Computer, clecked on cdrive (OS:C), went to Users and clicked on Appdata. … There I found the offending files (I knew the date files were created). .. There were three or four of these that I deleted to recycle bin.
I went back to Start menu, clicked on “Windows Live Messenger” and, behold, the account opened allright and the problem was solved.

Did you access Hotmail from other devices too? Did you tried accessing it from other computers,phones? Sometimes,this error can happen when you authorize one PC for it.
